Twitter - Get rich quick with this new method!
What a load of rubbish that is. Let’s set the record straight now... Twitter will not make you rich.
Twitter.com is a newly popular micro blogging website. Micro blogging?! Yes, micro blogging. It’s when you regularly update (or ‘tweet’) what the hell you’re up to. It’s by far the most addictive way to find out what half the people you know had for lunch.
What twitter is NOT is a spamming tool. Sure, you might find people on there who eventually you can work with. I follow a bunch of really good web designers, and a bunch of not very good web designers follow me – why? We post relevant items which we can share and enjoy. On the other hand I also follow my girlfriend, who tends to post things I already know like what she’s having for dinner.
So how do I get more sales from twitter?
Simple answer – don’t try! It’s not a get rich quick scheme. Like getting up the ranks on Google you will only reap the twitter benefits if you’re worth the interest. So if you’re a property company aiming at students, add a bunch of them and make following you worthwhile by posting funny videos or photos, or just being all round entertaining. Then when you have a property available, let them all know at once by tweeting it.
