As I just said (you have been listening, haven't you?) we've really streamlined the process. In fact we've spent many years doing so, and we can pass this time saving on to our clients. Below is what you can expect...

• You approach us and say "You guys seem to know your stuff - hook me up with a dapper website"
• We get you a design or two ready, and if you don't like it we keep going until you do
• Once the design is given the all clear by you we bolt the control panel on.
• You can now take your time adding content, and we're always on the phone to help - we give you a personal mobile number of somebody who knows the system inside out.
• Done! Time to press the big red "LAUNCH" button.

Control Panel

Our websites come with our exclusive control panel. We've spent years developing the system, taking in to account feedback from all or our clients on the way. The result is a system that is powerful and doesn't require a PhD to use.

Using the control panel you can add the following to your site:

• Normal Content - For when a page is just a page. Add text, style it however you like, add links, images, and tables.
• News system - Put news on your website so that your customers know what's going on. You can attach files like PDFs, Word Documents or Photos.
• Image Gallery system - Put an image gallery on any page of your site, upload the photos you want included and our system will resize them and make thumbnails for you.
• Video Gallery system - Top quality vids on your site.
• Property listing system for Estate or Letting agents
  • Add as many properties as you like, or add more than one property page to split up your stock by price or area.
  • Add a search function.
  • A couple of paragraphs about the property in question gives your visitors an introduction to it.
  • An unlimited number of bullet points gives them the figures.
  • A few bits of data, like price, whether the property is sale or rental, currency (supports GBP and EURO), number of bedrooms, and area make sure nobody ends up looking at the wrong property.
  • The area database has every political ward in the UK in it. If an area isn't in there, you can add it instantly. You can also delete instantly if an area is listed as something a bit odd.
  • An unlimitded number of photos per property mean you can really show it off, and the thumbnail creator gives you chance to focus on the best bits.
• The links system lets you link to your business mates, or your web designer.
• The contanct form creator means you don't have to give away your email address to spammers.

The control panel really is easy as pie, but if you do get a bit puddled we're always on hand to help.

Getting a site online is one thing, getting it seen is another and just as important.

We'd hate you to have a website made by such astounding professionals and not have it seen, so we've read up on the latest search engine optimisation techniques. We can't honestly say you're certain to be google's number one, but we can try our hardest to get close!

We use entirely ethical and organic techniques which is pretty rare in this day and age. Basically what you can do is cheat a search engine in to getting you to the top. It works at first but when you get spotted it tarnishes your reputation, so we keep it honest and patient.

Web Design Standards

Most people don't know that there is an organisation that sets the standard for web designers. Most web designers use the fact their clients don't know as an excuse to completely disregard the standards they should meet.

Why does it matter?

Simply put, if your website is not HTML valid different browsers (or even different releases of the same browser) will probably show your website differently. Do you want to know what everyone else sees when they access you site? Or do you just want a general idea.

HTML Valid websites work better with search engines, and more importantly display properly on ALL computers. To check if your site is valid click the XHTML button at the bottom right of our site. The website you are taken to will tell you that our site is valid and that we have "taken the care to create an interoperable Web page". You can replace our web address in the box with yours to see what they have to say about your site.

Website & Email hosting

Web hosting is a confusing world. Unless you know exactly what you're doing it can be mega stressful. This is why we let you leave everything to us; we will register your domain name or set it up to point at our servers, arrange your email addresses and unlike large international hosts your support is contact directly with the people in the know, and we're always on hand to answer your emails to our personal addresses. All V35 customers need to do it check their email - we handle the rest.

If we design your website you'll probably want to host it with us too, which is why we've devised a brilliant package to keep you happy. Our standard hosting fee of £15 per month gets you:

• 500MB of inbox space (£5 extra per month if you want to double this)
• As many addresses as you want (well, need)
• An online account management console
• • Ability to add/remove POP email addresses
  • Add/remove forwarders (so that all your emails can be sent home too, or to your mobile)
  • Change ‘default address’ settings (where mail to nonexistantpeople@you.com goes)
